Chaos Circuit Devlog: I succesfully f***ed up the game. :D


As many of you are aware, I've been diligently developing a game using GameMaker. It's been an enjoyable process, until I updated the software. Unfortunately, the new update has caused significant issues with my game, rendering much of it non-functional. This includes older systems, which were quite extensive with 600-800 lines of code. Understandably, this has left me feeling extremely demotivated.

Therefore, I've decided to take a substantial break from the project and start fresh with Love2D.

You might be wondering, why Love2D? Well, my initial choice of GameMaker Studio 2 was based on the assumption that I could easily export to multiple platforms using just Windows. However, this assumption has been proven incorrect, making GameMaker Studio 2 less practical for my needs. Love2D, on the other hand, offers a framework that should allow for smoother performance, provided I avoid writing inefficient code.
